Beach Club Golf Links, Sand/Surf Links, is a Public, 27 hole golf facility located in Berlin, Maryland.
The Beach Club Golf Links facility offers 27 holes of championship golf. The Links, designated as the Sand Links, Surf Links and Sun Links, offer 3 distinct 18 hole, par 72 lay-outs for both the advanced golfer and the novice alike. Designed by Brian Ault, of Ault Clark and Associates of Washington,D.C., the Beach Club Golf Links is combined by water, sand, mature stands of trees and grasses to create an enjoyable golf experience.
The Sand Links has a traditional layout with a very challenging par 5 opening hole. The Surf Links brings the complexity of water and sand into play. The Sun Links is demanding for even the lowest handicap golfer.
The Sand/Surf Links is one of the Ocean City areas longest golf courses. The course will be a challenge for the long hitters from the back tees, but yet for the recreational golfer, it is an accommodating course. Par can be achieved from the wide open fairways. Golf Digest rated the Sand/Surf links a 3 1/2 star course to play in 2006/2007. The Sand/Surf par-72 combination plays to 7,020 yards from the Black tees, 6,602 from the Blue tees, 6,193 yards from the white tees and 5,167 yards from The Red tees.
The Sun links has been considered their most challenging nine. You must have all the shots in your bag for this target course . The course has its risk but yet there are some rewards as well. The Sun Links was also rated a 3 1/2 star course to play in 2006/2007 by Golf Digest. The Sun Links 9 hole course is a par-36 layout. The Sun Links course plays to 3,338 yards from the Black tees, 3,171 from the Blue tees, 2,918 yards from the white tees and 2,580 yards from The Red tees.
Course closed in 2012. Originally two courses than reduced to three nines ..now closed with no sign of reopening.

Beach Club offers 27 holes of golf. Three different 9 hole segments. This is a nice course to play. Beach Club gets my recommendation.

The quality of the course is adequate for the very reasonable price. The fairways were thin in spots and upkeep was only fair in general. I would not make this a destination course but if I wanted to play for a cheap price I think this course is worth the price.
